| Biography |
I am a biologist specialized in drug discovery field research. I received her Ph.D in Biochemistry, at the University of Yaoundé 1, Cameroon, working on antiplasmodial and antileishmanial activities of Annona species. I am a Coimbra Sub Saharan fellowship recipient at the University of Granada, Spain. I performed a postdoctoral study at the Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research at the University of Ghana, Ghana studying potency of marine algae extracts and isolated compounds against Leishmania donovani and Leishmania major. Currently, I am a Senior Research Scientist at IMPM, Cameroon. My main research activities focus on traditional medicinal plants bioassay-guided research strategies for their antiprotozoal, antibacterial, antimycobacterial and cytotoxic properties as well as their constituents.
